HC Deb 08 October 1941 vol 374 cc970-1
24. Mr. Higgs

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works and Buildings how many Government and private factories are still in the process of erection; and what is the number of people that will be required to, man them when they are completed?

Mr. Hicks

I regret that it would not be in the public interest to give this information; but I am glad to be able to assure my hon. Friend that careful consideration is being given to every proposal for a new factory, and the question of the labour to man it.
