HC Deb 19 November 1941 vol 376 c280
3. Mr. Purbrick

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the hostile attitude generally adopted towards this country by the Vichy Government, he will use the railway and port facilities of Jibuti as much as we require and, if any hindrances are placed in our way by the Vichy Government, remove them?

Mr. Eden

His Majesty's Government are taking appropriate steps to achieve the solution which they and my hon. Friend equally desire.
