Major Lloyd GeorgeParticulars of the number of licences issued by food executive officers authorising individual producers to slaughter calves, sheep and pigs for consumption in their own households prior to the beginning of the present year, are not available. For the months of January, February, March and April this year, the total number of licences issued was: calves 113, sheep 1214, and pigs 152,479. Licences are not issued to authorise the slaughter of beasts by private individuals.
