Major Lloydasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he has any information with regard to the number of tenants of corporation, or other houses in Glasgow, who have voluntarily evacuated to reception areas, thus occupying houses which might otherwise be available for homeless people; whether in such circum stances the local authority proposes to requisition the houses concerned for re housing bombed-out families; and whether he has made any representations to the local authority on this subject?
