HC Deb 06 May 1941 vol 371 c693
61 Mr. Graham White

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether any decision has now been taken with regard to the proposed working of the Monikie starch factory?

Major Lloyd George

It has been decided that the Monikie factory shall not be put into production for the present. The question will be reconsidered in consultation with my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade, probably towards the end of this year. In the meantime it is proposed to use the premises for much needed food storage.
