Mr. Priceasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works and Buildings whether he is aware that a special building material is being manufactured in the United States of America out of surplus cotton which is thought to be suitable for the erection of hutments; and whether he will consider the possibility of obtaining American assistance under the Lease-Lend Act for the construction of accommodation to house-workers of evacuated industries in areas where there is shortage of accommodation?
