HC Deb 12 June 1941 vol 372 cc316-7
17. Sir Francis Fremantle

asked the Minister of Health, whether the Ministry has entered into consultation with the Council of the British Medical Association as to the instruction of the medical profession in the treatment of gas casualties; and with what result?

Mr. E. Brown

Lectures to general practitioners on the treatment of gas casualties are now being arranged throughout the country, through the co-operation of the British Medical Association. They will be given by distinguished medical teachers with practical experience in this special subject, and will be open to all general practitioners.. In addition, an authoritative memorandum on the subject has recently appeared in the medical Press, and a copy will shortly be sent direct to every registered practitioner in this country other than those serving with His Majesty's Forces.
