Mr. JohnstonWelfare supervision of members of the Women's Land Army in Scotland, whether on isolated farms or elsewhere, has been entrusted to Women's Land Army sub-committees. These committees allot districts to local women representatives who take an active interest in the well-being of the volunteers.
§ Sir T. MooreIs my right hon. Friend aware that this may be the system in theory, but it is not actually so in practice, and is he aware that young girls are dumped on these farms and then apparently forgotten?
