HC Deb 10 June 1941 vol 372 cc33-4
56. Captain W. T. Shaw

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he will give details of the pensions actually drawn by the Lord President of the Council?

The Financial Secretary to the Treasury (Captain Crookshank)

When my right hon. Friend took office in November, 1938, it was decided to follow established precedent, making no modification either to the advantage or disadvantage of any particular individual. My right hon. Friend therefore draws, and will continue to draw, the pension to which he is entitled by virtue of his past services under the Crown.
