HC Deb 15 July 1941 vol 373 c437
31. Captain McEwen

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he has considered the letter sent to him from the Scottish National Farmers' Union pointing out the damage done to flocks in Scotland by sheep-worrying dogs; and whether he has in mind any measures likely to diminish this offence?

The Secretary of State for Scotland (Mr. T. Johnston)

I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the reply given to the hon. Member for Linlithgow (Mr. Mathers) on 8th July, of which I am sending him a copy.
