§ 9. Mr. Loftusasked the Minister of Labour whether he will arrange for a register to be made in all protected establishments or trades of individuals who have entered these protected employments since the outbreak of war and of their experience in other skilled employment?
§ Mr. BevinNo, Sir. The compilation of such a register would throw a heavy burden on the already hard-pressed staffs of the firms concerned and of my Department, and I do not see that any commensurate advantage would be obtained.
