HC Deb 22 January 1941 vol 368 cc168-9
46. Mr. Wedgwood

asked the Prime Minister whether he will make it clear that no negotiations for an armistice with any Italian Government will take place without considering the claims of Greece, Turkey and the Negus to the Dodecanese, Libya and Abyssinia, as well as the safety of our commerce in the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean Sea?

Mr. Attlee

It would be both premature and imprudent to discuss such matters in public at the present time.
