HC Deb 19 February 1941 vol 369 c142
28. Mr. Liddall

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he will give the number of persons, other than qualified medical and dental practitioners, aged over 45 years and 55 years, respectively, without previous military service, who have been commissioned as officers during the last six months?

Mr. Law

I regret that I could not obtain the numbers asked for without considerable research, but it is thought that they are very small.
