HC Deb 17 October 1940 vol 365 c826
23. Mr. Stokes

asked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been called to the fine imposed at Lancaster, on 28th September, on Thomas Eric Rowland Hazeldine, aged 22, a member of the Home Guard, of £2 for trespass and £10 for firing a rifle at a sitting grouse; and whether he will consider remitting this fine?

Mr. H. Morrison

I am making certain inquiries about this case, and these inquiries are not yet completed. When they are, I will communicate with my hon. Friend.
