HC Deb 17 October 1940 vol 365 c807
25. Mr. David Adams

asked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that serious criticism of present-day camouflage methods is being made in scientific quarters; and whether the Camouflage Committee has yet met?

Mr. H. Morrison

I am aware of the criticisms which have been made against present-day camouflage methods, and have taken steps to ensure that these are carefully considered. I am satisfied that those entrusted with civil camouflage are making full use of the resources of scientific knowledge. The Camouflage Committee which was set up by my predecessor in office has now met. It has appointed a technical sub-committee, which meets once a fortnight.
