Member is referring to the negotiations 354 conducted by His Majesty's Government and the French Government with the Soviet Government in 1939 with the object of restraining further aggression in Europe, and I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given to the hon. Member for Dewsbury (Mr. Riley) on 20th March last. Nothing has since occurred to modify the decision of His Majesty's Government not to publish a White Paper on this subject at present.
