HC Deb 09 October 1940 vol 365 c363
20. Mr. Martin

asked the Minister of Health whether he will make arrangements to evacuate from London all families, as families, who are desirous of leaving, other than those members employed in any business, industry or public service; and whether he will arrange with local authorities to make provision for board and lodging of the latter category when necessary?

Miss Horsbrugh

My right hon. Friend has nothing to add to the statement which he made in reply to Questions from the hon. Members for Whitechapel (Mr. J. Hall) and Denbigh (Sir H. Morris-Jones) yesterday, of which I am sending the hon. Member a copy.
