asked the Home Secretary how many of the 38 retired Indian Civil Servants in his Air-raid Precautions Department are paid more than £1,000 a year; and how many of them are over the age of 60?

None of the 38 persons in the Ministry of Home Security who have retired from civil employment under Government in India is paid more than £1,000 a year by the Department. Five are over the age of 60.
