HC Deb 20 November 1940 vol 365 c1978
41. Mr. Hannah

asked the Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been called to complaints of cold suffered by soldiers on guard; and will he arrange for the supply of warmer underclothing?

The Financial Secretary to the War Office (Mr. Richard Law)

Arrangements have been made for the supply of warm underclothing, and there should be no shortage this winter. In addition, each man has a jersey pullover.
