§ 53. Sir I. Alberyasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he can now make any further statement concerning the employment of young men on the land, prior to their military service?
Mr. HudsonPlans have been prepared, in consultation with the representatives of headmasters, for encouraging the older boys leaving public and secondary schools to take whole-time employment in agriculture, as a form of national service for the war period or until they are called up for military duty. I hope to be in a position to announce further details shortly.
