Captain BalfourThe minimum age for appointment as an officer in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force is 18 and no exceptions have been made. No officer under 20 has been appointed for administrative duties, which involve the control of airwomen, and only one in 10 of the administrative officers is under 25 years of age.
