§ Sir J. AndersonThe Regional Commissioner for the North-Eastern region recently undertook a lecture tour in Portugal, at the request of the British Council and with my assent. The tour involved an absence of three weeks and the Commissioner is now back on duty. During his absence his duties as Commissioner were discharged by the Deputy-Commissioner.
