§ Mr. StanleyNo alien who enlists in the British Army is required by us to change his nationality. As was stated by my right hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in answer to a Question on 18th April last, the retention of United States citizenship by United States citizens who serve in His Majesty's Forces is a matter entirely within the competence of the United States authorities.
