HC Deb 25 April 1940 vol 360 cc378-9
Mr. Attlee

May I ask the Prime Minister whether he can state the business for next week?

The Prime Minister (Mr. Chamberlain)

The business for next week will be: Tuesday—Second Reading of the Workmen's Compensation (Supplementary Allowances) Bill.

Wednesday and Thursday—Report stage of the Budget Resolutions.

During the week, if there is an opportunity, it is hoped to take the Committee stage of the Agricultural Wages (Regulation) (Scotland) Bill.

Mr. Thorne

May I ask whether the right hon. Gentleman or the First Lord of the Admiralty is going to make a statement upon what is happening in Norway, because people are anxious to know?

The Prime Minister

I am not proposing to make a statement to-day.

Resolved,

"That this House, at its rising this day, do adjourn till Tuesday next."—[The Prime Minister.]
