HC Deb 26 October 1939 vol 352 c1573
79. Mr. Groves

asked the Home Secretary the nationality of each of the 16 graduates of foreign universities who have recently been admitted licentiates of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh; when each last came to Great Britain; the conditions imposed upon their coming here; and whether it is intended to allow them to practise the profession of medicine or surgery in Great Britain or in other parts of the British Empire?

Sir J. Anderson

There has not been time to obtain the information for which the hon. Member asks, but I will have inquiries made and collect particulars of these cases.

Mr. Groves

Will the right hon. Gentleman let me know the results?

Sir J. Anderson

Yes, certainly.
