HC Deb 26 October 1939 vol 352 cc1567-8
38. Mr. Lipson

asked the Minister of Health whether he has considered the memorandum from the British Spas Federation drawing attention to the present position of British spas and making certain constructive suggestions; and what action he proposes to take in the matter?

Mr. Elliot

I have received the memorandum referred to and I will give it my careful consideration in conjunction with the other Departments concerned.

Mr. Lipson

When the right hon. Gentleman makes a statement on this matter will he bear in mind the desirability of taking advantage of the resources of British spas?

Mr. De la Bère

Does the Minister also realise that the Droitwich brine baths are a national asset as a cure for rheumatism?
