Morrisonasked the Secretary of State for Air how many officers and non-commissioned officers of the Auxiliary Air Force have done no training since their mobilisation; what is the amount of pay and allowances paid to these officers and men to date; how many of them are still engaged in their civilian employment; and when it is expected they will be able to start on the work for which they are being paid or training for such work?
§ Sir K. WoodAll Auxiliary Air Force personnel called out for service since the Force was embodied have been undergoing training or performing duty. A very small proportion of the personnel, being men who were engaged on essential work in industry, were not called out or have been returned to civil life and they are not eligible for Royal Air Force pay and allowances.
