§ Mr. BurginThe sub-contracting system has been and will continue to be developed to the utmost extent possible. As regards the second part of the question, whenever work is placed elsewhere which would normally be carried out by the main contracting firm, effective steps are always taken to check the prices of the sub-contracts.
