§ 13. Mr. Ridleyasked the Minister of Labour what steps he proposes to take to 2475 deal with the cases of men who, when undertaking a course at a Ministry of Labour training centre, are required either to interrupt their course of training in order to carry out Militia service or are called up for Militia service after completing their training course without being able meanwhile to secure employment?
§ Mr. E. BrownAny man who is called up during a course of Ministry of Labour training will be allowed to complete his course at the end of his military training, and an extension of the Ministry of Labour training will be given where this appears necessary, owing to the break. Arrangements will also be made for men called up for military training shortly after completing their course at a training centre to be given a refresher course.
