Mr. Jenkinsasked the Minister of Health whether he has considered the terms of a resolution adopted at a meeting of the citizens of Newport, Monmouthshire, presided over by the mayor, calling the attention of the Government to the low standard of public health administration in certain areas in the Principality, and asking that early action be taken to reform local government areas with a view to making them more efficient; and what action he proposes to take to give effect to the terms of the resolution?
