Member for West Leyton (Mr. Sorensen), proposed terms of accession to the federation have been communicated to the Rulers of Indian States. The correspondence between the Crown representative and the Rulers is confidential and my Noble Friend is not in a position to make any statement on the report of the committee referred to by the hon. Member.
