§ 9. "That it is expedient to make provision for authorising a brewer for sale to add priming and colouring solutions to beer at premises other than premises entered by him for the brewing of beer or a bonded warehouse, subject to the premises being licensed for the purpose and to the payment, on the grant of any such licence in respect of any premises for any licence year or part thereof, of a duty of excise in accordance with the following Table:

§ Provided that where the premises have been so licensed for a part only of the preceding licence year, the number of bulk barrels of solutions received for use at the premises in that year shall, for the purpose of the foregoing Table, be taken to be a number which bears the same proportion to the number so received in the period for which the licence was in force as twelve months bears to the length of that period.
§ In this Resolution the expression 'bulk barrel' means a quantity of thirty-six gallons, and the expression 'licence year' means the twelve months ending on the thirtieth day of September."
