HC Deb 23 March 1939 vol 345 cc1441-2
33. Mr. T. Smith

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Education the names of the local authorities which have established, or are proposing to establish, holiday camps and camping sites, respectively; and state in each case the capital cost and amount of Exchequer grant and the accommodation and charges made?

The other is an application from the Rochdale County Borough Council for a grant towards the cost of a hut and lavatory accommodation for campers on a site already in the possession of the council. Towards this scheme the Board have made a grant of £50
