Will the Prime Minister be good enough to state the business for next week; and also the date of the Budget Statement?

The Prime Minister

The business for next week will be as follows:

Monday: Second Reading of the Cotton Industry Bill.

Tuesday: Second Reading of the Unemployment Insurance Bill; consideration of the Motion to approve the draft Unemployment Insurance (Increase of Benefits and Reduction of Contributions) (Agriculture) Order.

Wednesday: Second Reading of the Camps Bill, and of the Local Government Superannuation Bill.

Thursday: Report and Third Reading of the Reorganisation of Offices (Scotland) Bill; Second Reading of the Marriage (Scotland) Bill, and of the Local Government Amendment (Scotland) Bill; Report and Third Reading of the Census of Production Bill [Lords].

Friday: Committee and remaining stages of the Army and Air Force (Annual) Bill, and of the Local Government Superannuation Bill; Committee stage of the Camps [Money] Resolution.

On any day, if there is time, other Orders may be taken, including the consideration of Amendments to the Cancer Bill, which are expected to be received from another place.

The Chancellor of the Exchequer will open his Budget on Tuesday, 25th April.
