asked the Prime Minister whether he has any information as to the settlement arrived at between the German and Czech Governments as to payment by the Czech Government for the note circulation in the Sudeten areas taken over by the German Government?

Mr. Butler

So far as my Noble Friend is aware, no final settlement has yet been reached on this question.

Mr. Roberts

Has the right hon. Gentleman any knowledge of any settlements which have been agreed upon?

Mr. Butler

As I have said, so far as my Noble Friend is aware no final settlements have been reached. I will make inquiries and see what information I can get.

Will the right hon. Gentleman inquire about the provision for the public debt and whether any progress has been made?
