§ Mr. AttleeMay I ask the Prime Minister the reason for the Motion to suspend the Eleven o'Clock Rule to-night?
§ The Prime MinisterIt is proposed to suspend the Eleven o'Clock Rule in order to obtain the Committee stage of the Diplomatic and Consular Services and Foreign Office Votes, and the second, third and fourth Orders, being the Report stages of the Supplementary Estimates which have recently been considered in Committee. The Report stages of the Colonial Office and Colonial and Middle Eastern Services Votes will, however, not be taken to-night. We also propose to take the Report and Third Reading of the Cancer Bill.
