§ Mr. BrownDuring the year 1938 the numbers of vacancies filled by boys, aged 14–17, registered at the Wigan and St. Helens Juvenile Employment Bureaux were 561 and 415, respectively. Of these eight from Wigan and one from St. Helens involved living away from home.
