asked the Minister of Labour whether the report submitted to him on conditions of employment in the distributive trades, by the committee representing employers and employed, will be published and made available to hon. Members of this House?

Mr. E. Brown

I propose to make the report available to hon. Members in a convenient form.

91. Mr. Fleming

asked the Minister of Labour whether he has received a report of the joint conference of employers' and employees' organisations of the distributive and allied trades; and what action he intends to take in order to implement any of the recommendations contained therein?

99. Mr. Jagger

asked the Minister of Labour when he proposes to take steps to implement the recommendations contained in the memorandum submitted to him by the Committee on the Regulation of Wages and Conditions of Labour in the Distributive Trade?

Mr. Brown

The report has been received only within the last few days and I am not at present in a position to make a statement on the recommendations.

Mr. Fleming

Will the right hon. Gentleman give the House an opportunity to discuss this report?

Mr. Brown

I cannot say until I have concluded my consideration of this very valuable document.

Can the right hon. Gentleman give any indication when the report is likely to be in the hands of hon. Members?
