Mr. Attlee

With regard to the business on Monday and Tuesday, there are a large number of Supplementary Estimates, and I assume that it is not the intention of the Prime Minister to ask the House to enter upon the consideration of any important business at a late hour.

The Prime Minister

It will be necessary to see how we get on before I commit myself finally.

Mr. Stephen

Does the right hon. Gentleman intend that we should sit late to-night?

The Prime Minister

I hope not.
