asked the Postmaster-General the latest time for posting in London, Liverpool and Newport, Mon., respectively, on a Friday, so as to ensure delivery of a letter in the course of the following day in Solihull?

The latest times of posting at the respective chief offices are midnight in London, and 10.15 p.m. in Newport. Letters posted by 12.30 a.m. on Saturday in Liverpool should be delivered the same day in Solihull.
