§ The Prime MinisterIt is proposed to suspend the Eleven o'Clock Rule for the Civil Defence Bill, with which we hope to make good progress to-day. We hope to obtain the Government of India Act, 1935 (Adaptation of Acts of Parliament (Amendment) Order) which was debated last week, and the remaining stages of the Public Trustee (General Deposit Fund) Bill, which has already been considered by a Select Committee of this House.
§ Mr. GreenwoodAlthough the last two Orders will not raise a great deal of controversy, may I ask that the House shall not continue, in view of the progress
§ made yesterday, to sit as late as last night?
§ The Prime MinisterIt is hoped that it will not be necessary to sit late.
