LONDON GOVERNMENT.

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to consolidate with amendments certain enactments relating to local government in London, it is expedient to authorise the forfeiture and payment into the Exchequer in certain cases of sums equal to one-half of the salaries of persons appointed to act temporarily as medical officers of health for areas within the administrative county of London, being sums otherwise payable by the London County Council to the authorities appointing such persons."—[Captain Crook-shank.]

Resolution to be reported upon Monday next. Committee to sit again upon Monday next.
