Member knows, previous statements of policy on this subject have been made after consultation between the Government and other parties in the House, and in pur- 1301 suance of this practice it is proposed that the leaders of the Opposition parties should be consulted in due course before a statement is made on behalf of the Government regarding the report of the Royal Commission.
