§ 69. Sir A. Lambert Ward
asked the Minister of Transport what is the quantity of foreign telegraph poles for electricity purposes purchased by, or on behalf of, the electricity undertakings of this country; and what proportion was carried in British and foreign ships, respectively?
§ The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Transport (Captain Austin Hudson)
I am afraid that I have no information as to the number of foreign poles used by electricity undertakers, nor as to the nationality of the ships in which they are carried to this country.
