HC Deb 29 November 1938 vol 342 c225
21. Sir Irving Albery

asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether he can give any information concerning the arrangements made for selected Dutch farmworkers to emigrate to Australia?

Mr. M. MacDonald

I understand that the question of promoting Dutch emigration to Australia is at present the subject of discussion between the Netherlands and the Commonwealth Government, but that no definite arrangements have yet been made.

Mr. Lunn

Will it be possible to acquaint the Dutch Government with what has happened to settlers, so that they will be aware of the facts in Australia before Dutchmen migrate there?
