HC Deb 28 November 1938 vol 342 c27
44. Mr. De la Bère

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he will have inquiries made in connection with the flooding of some acres of rich pasture-land at Moors Farm, Upton Warren, Bromsgrove, which has been caused by a Government drain laid a century ago, with a view to preventing a recurrence of this flooding?

Mr. W. S. Morrison

I am arranging for inquiries to be made, and will acquaint my hon. Friend with the result.

Mr. De la Bère

Will my right hon. Friend take the matter up with the Prudential Insurance Company, who are the owners of these properties?

Mr. Morrison

That is another question. I had not heard of this matter until the question was put on the Order Paper, but I will make full inquiries and communicate with my hon. Friend.
