§ The Prime MinisterThe question of the security of British communications through the Western Atlantic and in the Mediterranean has already been considered in all its bearings and is kept under review by the Committee of Imperial Defence.
§ Lieut.-Commander FletcherWhile appreciating that these matters are kept under general review by the Committee of Imperial Defence, may I ask whether it would not be reassuring to the country to know that the matter is engaging the special attention of the Committee of Imperial Defence and to have an appreciation of the kind mentioned?
§ The Prime MinisterI said that it is kept under review in all its bearings, and I am sure that that will be very reassuring to the country.
