§ Mr. ManderIs the right hon. Gentleman not aware that large numbers of German domestic servants are employed in officers' households in Aldershot and elsewhere; and am I to understand that this is being done to a large extent without permission?

§ Mr. ManderYes; but is the right hon. Gentleman aware that very much larger numbers than those he gave are employed, and that often German is heard much more frequently than English in the Aldershot district. Will he not make inquiries?
