§ Mr. W. S. MorrisonThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. With regard to the second part of the question, the production of butter depends on the quantity of milk available for manufacture. My hon. Friend will appreciate that I could hardly ask the Milk Marketing Board to arrange for further supplies of milk for manufacture into butter, which is one of the least remunerative outlets, if, in the opinion of the Board, the provision of such supplies would be detrimental to the interests of the milk industry.
