HC Deb 12 May 1938 vol 335 c1687
18. Mr. Whiteley

asked the Minister of Labour whether he can arrange for a subsidiary exchange to be opened at Sunniside, near Marley Hill, to cater for men displaced by closing down of coke ovens, instead of them having to travel to Dunston.

Mr. E. Brown

I am afraid that the circumstances at Sunniside would not justify the opening of a separate office there.
